The DC Shoes "ROB DYRDEK FANTASY FACTORY" SWEEPSTAKES OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PERSON AND PER EMAIL ADDRESS. WINNER WILL BE NOTIFIED BY E-MAIL ONLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

The DC Shoes "Rob Dyrdek" Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 am (PST) on 06/16/09 and ends at 11:59 pm (PST) on 07/07/09 (the "Entry Period"). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Sweepstakes is sponsored Pacific Sunwear Stores Corp. 3450 E. Miraloma Avenue, Anaheim, CA, 92806 ("Sponsor") and DC Shoes ("Provider/Sponsor"), 1333 Keystone Way, Unit A, Vista, CA 92081.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all legal residents of the 50 United States or District of Columbia. Entrants must be 13 years or older as of date of entry. A prize won by a minor will be awarded in the name of their parent or legal guardian. All employees of Sponsor (PacSun) and/or Provider/Sponsor (DC Shoes) and immediate family and household members are not eligible. The person who is the authorized email account holder of the email address indicated when registering a screen name will be deemed the entrant. E-mail addresses cannot be shared. The authorized email account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses, or the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Grand Prize winner's travel companion is required to be 18 years of age or older as of the date of issuance of Grand Prize winner's notification or be the child or ward of the Grand Prize winner. HOW TO ENTER VIA THE INTERNET: Beginning at 12:01 am (PST) on 06/16/09, you may enter via the Internet by following the directions (providing your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, gender and e-mail address) given in the The DC Shoes "Rob Dyrdek Fantasy Factory" Sweepstakes entry section at www.pacsun.com/DCFantasyFactory (enter name of new site for this contest) (until 07/07/09) (the "Entry Site"). ALL ONLINE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59 PM (PST) ON 07/07/09. ONLY ONE (1) ONLINE ENTRY PER PERSON AND/OR PER E-MAIL ADDRESS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

HOW TO ENTER VIA MAIL: You may enter by mail in lieu of online or via text messaging by printing your name, address, daytime telephone number and the Internet or other location where you found these instructions on a postcard and mailing it to the The DC Shoes "Rob Dyrdek Fantasy Factory" Sweepstakes, Pacific Sunwear Stores Corp., 3450 E. Miraloma Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92806. Mailed entry date must be postmarked by the deadline posted elsewhere on this offer. ALL EVENT ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED NO LATER THAN 07/07/09. ONLY ONE (1) EVENT ENTRY PER PERSON AND/OR E-MAIL ADDRESS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

WINNER SELECTION: Three (3) grand prize winners and 30 first prize winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries on or about 07/07/09 by the Sponsors. Decisions made at that time are binding and shall be final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The potential winner will be notified by E-MAIL or PHONE on or before 08/01/09. If the potential winner is under the age of 18 at the time of winning, a parent or custodial legal guardian must provide written consent of acceptance and must agree to accompany the underage winner for the entire duration of the prize trip. The potential winner must complete any and all legal documents required by Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor-including without limitation a notarized Affidavit of Eligibility & Release of Claims, an IRS W-9 form, and a parental consent, if applicable-and return them to Sponsor within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of such documents. Failure to return all required forms within this time period or to comply with any other provision of these Official Rules & Regulations may result in the potential winner being disqualified and the prize awarded to an alternate winner. If a prize notification or prize is returned as undeliverable for any reason, prize will be awarded to an alternate winner.

PRIZES: The (3) three grand prizes consists of trip to Los Angeles to tour Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, including round trip coach air transportation for you and a guest from a major airport nearest your home to an airport in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, ground transportation to and from the airport to the hotel, and lodging (1 room/double occupancy) for you and a guest or guardian, a tour for two (2) to Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory, one meal for two (2) with Rob Dyrdek, and DC Shoes PRODUCT to be determined by Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor. The total retail value of each Grand Prize is approximately One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00). The (30) First Prizes are assorted DC Merchandise. The retail value of each First Prize is approximately FiftyDollars ($50.00). The total retail value of all prizes is six thousand Dollars ($6000.00). The prizes available are entirely within Sponsor's and/or Provider/Sponsor's absolute discretion. The date must occur at the date set forth by the Sponsors or it shall be void. Prize is not transferable, assignable or redeemable for cash, and winner may not elect to substitute one prize for another. If necessary, due to unavailability or circumstance beyond Sponsor's and/or Provider/Sponsor's reasonable control, a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded at sole discretion of Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited) for Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor to use winner's name, likeness, biography, statements, photos and any other similar materials for publicity purposes without additional compensation or limitation. Odds of winning the prize are determined by total number of eligible entries received. Prize is awarded "as is" with no guarantee, either expressed or implied. The winner shall be solely responsible for all taxes on prizes and any expenses relating to accepting and using a prize unless such expenses are specifically included in the prize description.

GENERAL: Void outside of the 50 United States or District of Columbia. All entries become property of Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants and entries ineligible. INTERNET CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR AND/OR PROVIDER/SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor are not responsible for faulty, incorrect email transmissions, incorrect announcements of any kind, technical hardware or software failures of any kind including any injury or damage to any person's computer related to or resulting from participating in or experiencing any materials in connection with the promotion, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission that may limit a user's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes; or any error that may occur in the processing of "Enter to Win" account registrations. Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor assume no responsibility for undeliverable emails resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user's internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user's email account to receive email. It is the participant's responsibility to register with a valid email address. Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor are also not responsible for lost mail-in entry forms that are not received at 3450 E. Miraloma Ave., Anaheim, CA 92806 by 5:00 PM (PST) on last day of Entry Period. Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor reserve the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, misconduct or technical failures destroy the integrity of the promotion or if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper administration of the program as determined by sponsor/judging agency/administrator, in their sole discretion. In the event of termination of the Sweepstakes, a notice will be posted online. Any damage made to the website will also be the responsibility of the authorized email account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. Participant shall be requested to provide Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor with proof that the participant is the authorized email account holder of the email address associated with the account/submission. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of receipt by Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor. Sponsor and Provider/Sponsor reserve the right to freeze or close an account or to prohibit the participation of an individual/account holder if fraud or tampering is suspected or if the account holder fails to comply with any requirement of participation as stated herein or with any provision in these Official Rules. All federal, state and local laws apply.

Entrants hereby release and waive any claims they may have against Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor, each of their respective parents, affiliates, co-sponsors, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the judges, and all other individuals or entities involved in the creation, administration, or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents, past and present, for any and all injuries, claims, damages, losses, costs or expenses of any kind (including without limitation reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or resulting from acceptance or use of any prize or parts thereof or participation in this Sweepstakes. Sponsor and/or Provider/Sponsor shall not be liable to winner or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any act of God, any action, regulation, order or request by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity (whether or not the action, regulations, order or request proves to be invalid), equipment failure, terrorist acts, earthquake, war, fire, flood, explosion, unusually severe weather, hurricane, embargo, labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal) labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slow-down, civil disturbance, insurrection, riot or any other cause beyond Sponsor's and/or Provider/Sponsor's sole control.
