Zoo York began in the early 1970's as a crew of progressive minds who lived and breathed New York City's creative energy found themselves in the midst of a social movement. Springing from Manhattan's Riverside Park, the Soul Artists of Zoo York built a thriving scene with aerosol, skateboards, block rockin' beats and originality.
By the dawn of the 1980's, the term Zoo York had come to symbolize NYC's underground of artists, b-boys, skateboarders, punks and various creative offshoots. They dominated the skateboard industry producing Zoo York skate shoes, apparel, skateboards, bags and accessories.
So whether you're a graf head, hip hop b-boy, skateboarder, or anything in between, Zoo York has something for you.
